This is our cover of Fischerspooner’s 2001 hit, “Emerge”, which appeared on the duos album “#1” (2001). We chose to do this cover not only because the original is fantastic, also but because there is a NY/Chicago connection. It is in Chicago, while attending the Art Institute of Chicago, Casey Spooner met Warren Fischer. The two went on to co-found Fischerspooner in New York in 1998. And, it was in Chicago, while on holiday that Myke Flaherty met David Packer. The two went on to confound Chicago Shop in 2012.
